I have found me a home!
Barty: Homeless Senior to Beloved Family Member
Barty arrived at the shelter in the Winter with a massive tumor. As an older dog, there was concern about his prognosis. Thankfully, Dr. Reeder of Animal Hospital of Waynesboro discovered that this was easily operable and with donor funds, Barty had the tumor removed. In the Facebook posts describing Barty's plight, a donor became a foster and then became the adopter! Barty is living happily with his new family!
I'm still looking for a home!
Charlie: Differently-Abled not Disabled
Charlie was a shelter-favorite from the day he arrived. Bouncy and happy despite being deaf and partially blind. It was discovered he needed Entropian surgery on his eyes to relieve a painful condition in which the eyelid is turned inward resulting in eyeball abrasion. Even though the surgery didn't repair his other vision issues, it did bring him relief from the pain. He is one changed boy now! The only thing Charlie doesn't have is a home to call his own.
The Purrfect Match!
AnglerFish Was Hooked By An Adopter
AnglerFish was in a similar pickle as Charlie, he needed Entropian eye surgery also. Luckily, Friends Of was able to pay for this surgery and not only does he feel better, he's caught a home to live in.
Without funds, animals like AnglerFish arriving at a kill-shelter may be at a huge risk. Your donations allow us to give them a second chance at a loving home, pain and illness free.
