A local artist, Nancy Berg has kindly offered to create one-of-a-kind portraits to create beautiful keepsakes for your pet(s) and benefit Friends of SVASC and the many animals at Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center in Lyndhurst.
The custom portrait is available for purchase as a digital file or a 5"x7" matted printed photo.

- Printed Photo with a White mat (sized for any 8"x10" frame): $20 donation
Printed portraits can be picked up from SVASC when finished. Shipping is available in case you live out of the area.

About Nancy Berg
My name is Nancy Berg, and I'm a digital artist working in Waynesboro. I have been a maker and an animal lover my entire life, and it makes me very happy to be able to use my work to help bring these wonderful animals and their forever families together.
Digital art is a relatively new medium that I have been exploring for the last few years. With pet portraits, I start with a file of the image I will be using. Working directly on the image I use digital brushes to blend, paint and manipulate the pixels in the image to create a piece that is somewhere in between a photo and a painting.
FAQs
Can I submit my own photo(s)?
You can upload the photo of your choice or a photo from your new pet's shelter profile. After you make your purchase, you will be taken to a form where you can upload your photos and make any notes you may have for Nancy.
What if I have 3 dogs, but not all in the same photo?
If you would like a portrait using multiple photos, you can upload all of them and tell Nancy how you would like the portrait to look. There is a $5 fee per pet after the 1st one.
What if I want to order a larger print?
Custom print sizes can be ordered for an additional fee. Nancy can work that out with you individually.
What shipping service do you use?
Your matted print will be shipped USPS First Class.
